On June 26, 2023, by reaching the summit of Nanga Parbat 8126m, Sophie Lavaud becomes THE first French woman to have climbed all 14 of the world's 8000 m peaks.
She began her career in the hotel business, then moved on to the world of luxury goods and finance. Today, she divides her time between himalayism and lecturing.
