Financial sustainability in the Open Source ecosystem

Any conversation about the health of a project must take into account the financial support on which the project depends. If a project is supported by a single company, the financial health of that company becomes essential, because if that company goes bankrupt the project risks being abandoned. In this talk, Emily Omier will discuss the issues for Open Source consumers and the methods they can use to assess the financial health of a project before depending on it.
