Description

Raising money, growing without worrying about losses seems to be a pattern of success for tech companies. Yet other development models exist. Bootstrappers claim the possibility to grow by self-financing. This is the path we have chosen at Sociabble. But in the end, what is bootstrapping? Should we systematically oppose it to fundraising? What are the main benefits of bootstrapping, especially in the current context, and should we lower our ambitions for the company and for our employees? What are the impacts on the tech side (recruitment, organization of tech teams, methods...). These are some of the questions we will address during this session, with concrete examples.
