Researching data centers with the DCWatch project and digital common

Description
Following our work on the 2024-2026 prospective study of data center energy consumption for ADEME, we decided to continue our efforts through a 'digital common'—a foundation for collaborative and open research called DCWatch.
We will begin by highlighting the key takeaways from our previous work, then examine the material differences between a data center dedicated to generative AI and a traditional one, and finally, conclude with a case study using DCWatch, supported by satellite imagery.
